Paulandfriends.org was Founded by Paul  Mator Manyok one of the Sudanese lost boys of who came to the United State in Sept 2003. He has been to Ethiopia when he was a little boy and then to Kenya in 1992-2003 He when back last Summer to share the word of God with his Sudanese brothers and sisters in Kenya and Uganda in 2005 and to Uganda and Sudan in 2006 andSummer of 2007. This year he is looking forward to go to Southern Sudan with a group of Sudanese Lost boys and American friends. Remember Paul and friends in your prayers.
The motto for the website is:
Peace, joy, and unity among friends from all over the world.

The motto is summarized by a quotation on the tomb of a man from the 12th Century:

“When i was a child, i thought i could change the whole world, and when i was a youth, i thought i could change my country. When i got married, I thought i could change my family. Now I am dying and i realize that i can first change myself, and perhaps by changing myself i can change my family, and by changing my family, i can change my country, and by changing my country, i can finally change the whole world.”

The world is made of individuals. and these individuals, if they first change themselves, then they can change the whole world.

The verse for the website is:
Mark 12:29-31
29 “The most important one”, answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

Why I am creating this website:
I created this website to allow people all over the world to build friendships through pictures and messages, explore their own spritual life, and learn more about God’s will for our lives. Please respect this website and use it as an opportunity to build and to grow friendships and maybe to touch the life of another child of God.
For, “All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you. ” (1 Peter 1:24-25)
