Abigel was born in Jinja Hospital on March 16th 2008 in Jinja Uganda, the picture was taken few minute after she was born. Good parent read their children facial expressions. Abigel’s  parent Paul and Elizabeth believe that thier daughter is pointing to the future free from enemy’s tanks. Circumstnaces different from what Paul and Elizabeth have been through before comprehensive Peace Agreement signed in 2005.

Under normal circumstances Abigel Nyanluak Paul Mator Manyok would have been born in Duk Padiet/Duk Payuel in Jonglei state in Southern Sudan, because of war father was displaced when he was a small boy walked thousands miles to Ethiopia then to Kenya and  finally in USA. Abigel Mother Elizabeth Amer Makuach met Paul Mator Manyok in Kakuma refugee camp,Paul and Elizabeth started dating in 1999 shortly before Paul completed his High school, courtship and got married few years later.

Both Abigel’s parent and several others were displaced by war, the war which have cost the life of 2.5 million people in Sudan. It is a hope and prayers of Abigel’s parent that daughter and many other children don’t have to go through what they have been through.

Abigel is now in Jinja Uganda and father Paul in USA. Abigel hope to meet with her father one day. Please remember Abigel and her parent in your prayers. Pray for family reunion.

Thanks
