Paul Mator and Elizabeth Amer in Juba during the First SPLM international leaders confernce. 25 percent given to women during CPA.
Dear friends, it has been a while since I last talked with you, I just wanted to update all of you about my trip, it has been a very successful trip even though I did not make it to Duk county and different areas which I wish to visit. God brought most of my friends and people that I wanted to meet.
I met with the commissioner of Duk County Mayen Ngor Atem, Diing Akol of Twich East County, commissioner of Ayod. It was a great honor for me to spend my quality time with this big men, learning all I could from them, sharing some flash backs and memories of long struggle and a 22years all civil war.
I have also attended SPLM international leaders Conference in Juba together with Elizabeth Amer and many other people from different part of the world. I have also participated in memorial of our late hero Dr. John Garang de Mabior.
I have also participated in the SPLM youth league conference in Juba.
My time in Juba has been a blessing. I have reconnected with friends, Church leaders, and government officials. I have with the education under secretary William Ater maciek and Alebel. We spend quality time together during my time in Southern Sudan. Will did not forget the time he spends with the Lost Boys of Sudan. I am very thankful all my friends whom have stood with me and those whom have send letter of encouragements.
Thanks to my Lipscomb friends, my WBS friends, my ST Bs friends, my CoC friends, my ECS, ACWS and many more the list is long. I am very thankful for your prayers.
I wish you God’s blessings.
I will be in USA on August 16th 2007 God willing.
My trip from Juba to Uganda was eventful our bus broke down on the way between Gulu and Bibia. Thank God some minor repair was done after a long wait. We finally came to Kampala at midnight. I am now in Jinja Uganda.
I will share more with you later.
Thanks
Paul and Friends.
