Dear citizens of Dukridge,
I would like to inform you that, our brother and Reverend, Jacob Matiop Mayen,
with his good hearted American friends, have discerned a call to travel to Kakuma
Refugee Camp for Mission Work on May 3, 2006. As we know, whatever we do always
begins with God’s call; therefore Reverend Mayen has a call to minister to thespiritual leaders of our community from different denominations that are plantingChristianity in the camp. Your generous petitions are graciously requested for thesuccess of this summer program. When Jesus Christ asked little children to come to him, he didn’t say onlyrich children, or White children, or Black children or children with two-parent families, or children who didn’t have a mental or physical
handicap. He said, “Let all children come unto me.”Marian Wright Edelman quote.Hereafter, I am calling upon you to pray for solidarity, and acceptance in ourcommunity. We’re all God’s children despite our denomination or interpretations ofour beliefs. Let’s ask God in our intentions to open doors for the development ofnew infrastructures in our community. Please pray for flourishment of God’s
stewardship in the midst of His people. Contact Reverend Mayen personally if you have inputs, or suggestions concerning his ministry or if you would like to know
about his summer mission trip, or have a message that you would like him to convey
to the spiritual leaders of our community from all denominations.Your mutual
adherence to the unity of our community both spiritually and politically will be
