Hi friends,
We want to let you know that the Sudanese Lost boys from TN are on their way to Washington DC. They are now near virginia. Accordning to Anderia Achien Chol. Gai Bol and Mamjok Nhial remain due the capcity of Van. The van could not accommodate all the young men who were willing to go. Abraham Deng Chol and Isaac Kuir from Kentucky are also part of the group.
Jacob Galuak Wuor one of the Lost boys of Duk-padiet currently living in Franklin TN called and said everything was fine with their trip. Paul and Friends would to extend their sincere thanks to Mr Ron Lim, Rossetta Davis for taking time from their busy schedule to stand with Sudanese refugees in such a historical rally. Judge people by thier relatives no comments
ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
TWO. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational
skills will be as important as any other.
THREE. Don’t believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
FOUR. When you say, “I love you,” mean it.
FIVE. When you say, “I’m sorry,” look the person in the eye.
SIX. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
SEVEN. Believe in love at first sight.
EIGHT. Never laugh at anyone’s dream. People who don’t have dreams don’t have much.
NINE. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it’s the only way to
live life completely.
TEN.. In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.
ELEVEN. Don’t judge people by their relatives.
TWELVE. Talk slowly but think quickly.
THIRTEEN. When someone asks you a question you don’t want to answer, smile and

SEVENTEEN. Remember the three R’s: Respect for self; Respect for others; and
responsibility for all your actions.

Dear citizens of Dukridge, no comments
Dear citizens of Dukridge,
I would like to inform you that, our brother and Reverend, Jacob Matiop Mayen,
with his good hearted American friends, have discerned a call to travel to Kakuma
Refugee Camp for Mission Work on May 3, 2006. As we know, whatever we do always
begins with God’s call; therefore Reverend Mayen has a call to minister to thespiritual leaders of our community from different denominations that are plantingChristianity in the camp. Your generous petitions are graciously requested for thesuccess of this summer program. When Jesus Christ asked little children to come to him, he didn’t say onlyrich children, or White children, or Black children or children with two-parent families, or children who didn’t have a mental or physical
handicap. He said, “Let all children come unto me.”Marian Wright Edelman quote.Hereafter, I am calling upon you to pray for solidarity, and acceptance in ourcommunity. We’re all God’s children despite our denomination or interpretations ofour beliefs. Let’s ask God in our intentions to open doors for the development ofnew infrastructures in our community. Please pray for flourishment of God’s
stewardship in the midst of His people. Contact Reverend Mayen personally if you have inputs, or suggestions concerning his ministry or if you would like to know
about his summer mission trip, or have a message that you would like him to convey
to the spiritual leaders of our community from all denominations.Your mutual
adherence to the unity of our community both spiritually and politically will be
highly appreciated.
Thank you,
Deng Dominic
TIMING IS EVERYTHING no comments
On Thursday, April 20th, the IC office got word that we are finally insured for the
Global Night Commute. Each city’s permits were hanging on this news. We are
ecstatic.
Three days later, on April 23, the IC office got word that the Oprah Winfrey Show
will be flying the 3 filmmakers to Chicago to appear on her show, LIVE on Wednesday,
April 26th. Ten million viewers, who did not know about Invisible Children, will be
hanging on her every word. Needless to say, we are BUSY preparing, and again
completely ecstatic.
If one percent of Oprah’s viewers were to join us – we will have over 100,000 (plus
our 40,000) committed to commute on April 29th. And you KNOW how we dream big.
Read this PDF [http://www.invisiblechildren.com/media/pdfs/GNC_details.pdf] if you
haven’t already, informing you of the event details.
If you have something further to ask us, PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH OUR REPLIES.
First, Try to find answers on our website, Myspace, or in the above PDF.
If it is an emergency, try calling the office at 619.562.2799 and we will direct you
to the department best suiting your questions. (See how official we’ve gotten?)
THANK YOU for taking a little time to look FIRST (as we have done all we can to make
answers available.) Thank you for your patience, for believing in the importance of
this story and the Global Night Commute before Oprah did, and thank yous beyond
thank yous for doing what you can for the children in Northern Uganda.
TUNE IN- Wednesday, April 26th, to the Oprah Winfrey Show.
* side note: You can stop calling and writing her letters, and emails now. (We are
blown away at how many of you wrote on our behalf- without our prompting. So were
they.) Now we have to sit on our hands, until the show airs. We don’t want anything
to jeopardize the Oprah love. Thanks. See you Wednesday.

A man was praying to God. He said, “GOD?”
God said “yes?”
“Can I ask you a Question?”
“Go right ahead.”
“God,What is a million years to you?
“A millionn years to me is only a second.”
“HMMM,” the man wondered. So God,what is a million dollars worth to you?.
“A million dollars to me is as a penny!”
“God, can I have a penny?”
God said, “Sure!!… Just a second.”
Let the be Peace in the World and let begin with us! 1 comment
Why do people pay more attention to some of this picture more than others?

Invisible Children Global Night Commute no comments
I don’t know how many of you have heard of the invisible children, but if you haven’t, you should go to this website to find out more:
. Basically, there are children in Uganda and other countries in Africa that are having to travel by night in fear of being murdered in their own homes. I have something interesting that I think you all might be interested in participating in if you would like to help. There will be a Global Night commute April 29th in Franklin, TN and other cities across the U.S. which will be similar to those of the invisible children. The Sudanese Lost Boys are considering camping out at Washington, D.C. People all over are coming together to stop these wars that are causing the children to leave their own homes at night. If you all want to join with the so far 34,000 others, visit this link to sign up for the walk: . This would be an amazing thing to be a part of, and we can make a difference. I hope this is encouraging, and if you’d like to know more, you can e-mail me, Daniel Hudgins, at hudginsdj@lipscomb.edu. May God bless you all, and have a great day!
