Unexpected Death! no comments
I was talking with a friend after thanksgiving week, we were exchanging our thanksgiving news and wishes and plans for the week. She told me that everything went well during her thanks giving except missing a friend back home who died in car wreck on his way home during thanksgiving week and so she was going back home to attend his funneral on Tuesday the good news was the fact that her friend gave his life to my older brother (Jesus) before he died and so for her and for the rest of us we are assured that he is in a better place Remember this verse and decide whether you have or gonna give your life to Christ before anything happens “ But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives †(2 Peter 3:10-11)
If you are a Christian please pray for people who don’t know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. and if are not and want to give your life to Him please do and live a holy life.

I ran into a stranger as he passed by,
“Oh excuse me please” was my reply.
He said, “Please excuse me too;
I wasn’t watching for you.”
We were very polite, this stranger and I.
We went on our way and we said goodbye.
But at home a different story is told,
How we treat our loved ones, young and old.
Later that day, cooking the evening meal,
My son stood beside me very still.
When I turned, I nearly knocked him down.
“Move out of the way,” I said with a frown.
He walked away, his little heart broken.
I didn’t realize how harshly I’d spoken.
While I lay awake in bed,
God’s still small voice came to me and said,
“While dealing with a stranger,
common courtesy you use,
but the family you love, you seem to abuse.
Go and look on the kitchen floor,
You’ll find some flowers there by the door.
Those are the flowers he brought for you.
He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.
He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,
you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes.”
By this time, I felt very small,
And now my tears began to fall.
I quietly went and knelt by his bed;
“Wake up, little one, wake up,” I said.
“Are these the flowers you picked for me?”
He smiled, “I found ‘em, out by the tree.
I picked ‘em because they’re pretty like you.
I knew you’d like ‘em, especially the blue.”
I said, “Son, I’m very sorry for the way I acted today;
I shouldn’t have yelled at you that way.”
He said, “Oh, Mom, that’s okay.
I love you anyway.”
I said, “Son, I love you too,
and I do like the flowers, especially the blue.”
FAMILY
Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the company
that we are working for could easily replace us in
a matter of days.
But the family we left behind will feel the loss
for the rest of their lives.
And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more
into work than into our own family,
an unwise investment indeed,
don’t you think?
So what is behind the story?
Do you know what the word FAMILY means?
FAMILY = (F)ATHER (A)ND (M)OTHER (I) (L)OVE (Y)OU
Pass this message to 7 people except you and me.
You will receive a miracle tomorrow.
Don’t ignore and God will bless you

Bor Community in U.S.A By Dominic Deng From Michigan 1 comment
Hi Brothers and Sisters,
Dominic Deng Majok, One of our Lost and found Young men from Michigan asked me to post this message .
Here is the message.
Dear brothers and sisters, fellow citizens of Bor Community USA, and afar,
Please accept my humble greetings in this miserable moment of internal lost of our
fearless leader Dr. John Garang de Mabior. Brothers and sisters, when war launched
out in May 16 1983, our community was affected directly or by-proxy by the
Khartoum’s government. Our dear fathers, mothers, siblings and friends had scarified
their lives for the cost of freedom and self-determination of the South and the
whole Sudan.
When that an inevitable massacred had occurred in our community and in the South in
general, we remained steady and hopeful knowing that Dr. Garang, is there. Hundreds
and thousands members of Bor Community had willingly left this world in friendship
into the glory of God, forsake of our community and the entire South. They have With
love, hope and courage knowing that, we shall continue their vision of what they
started and died for; still we had hope. Though we lost our love once in the battle
field, still we had hope. But the unexpected death of our prominent leader had
internally crashed each one of us in one way or another. His death has weakened our
community, and the Movement which he had led for two decade, and the CPA which he
had undersigned.
Friends, we need to maintain our standard either politically or socially with our
allies as members of Bor Community in diaspora and back home. Despite the lost, we
need to work harder for the implementation of what he had started, his living
vision, the SPLM/A, and the CPA. We need to keep his vital vision transparent in our
community likewise in the South. The establishment of the SPLM/A, in 1983-2005, has
unanimously marked Dr. Garang, era. May God rest his soul in peace.
Despite our political and sectional differences, we are still brothers and sisters
forever and ever; believe it or not. It’s a time to relinquiflourishsh our our
differences; and gives peace a chance to , it’s a time to embrace unity. Our union
needs the extensive work of every man and woman from Chuei Keer to Chuei Thon. I
encourage each one of you to preach the act of peace and love to bear living fruits
within ourselves and with neighbors as well.
Therefore, I would like to inform you that, Bor Community USA, shall have general
assembly for the commemoration of unexpected death of our leader Dr. John Garang,
the Founding Father of the Sudan People Liberation Arms/movement SPLA/M. The meeting
will take place next July of 06, and it will mark Garang’s first anniversary.By
than, we shall remember all our brothers and sisters who have gone before us. It
will be the moment to contemplates and reflect on those who have nobly fallen a
sleep in support of our community and the movement. We shall recall brothers and
sisters who have bravely fought our challengers in the battle, who have willingly
gave their lives; are not longer living with us. They gave their lives for our
common good and the good of the next generations to comes. My question
is, What can we do to remember our brothers and sisters who had willingly redeemed
us with their blood? The answer is easy to articulate, forming One Bor empire will
be truly respectable. We shall above all things concentrate to promote the union and
harmony in our entire Family of Pan-Bor. “Perish is the man who wishes to divided
us,” David Ramsay quote. Divided will enable us to become the mockery of others and
we will be forever exiled.
Please talk about it come up with conducive results that would help to elevates the
prosperity of this particular community in one way or another.
The venue of the meeting is not specify and some individuals have already suggested
Minnesota or Iowa. The Iowa was suggested as historical and political center, and
Minnesota is the center to balance most of the states. The office of BCUSA is
working on it and you will be updated ASAP.
Brothers and sisters, I am requesting you to join hands for the common good of our
community. It’s our responsibility to bring B. Community perspectives together. I
have a decent faith in each one of you to make a difference and proclaim
togetherness, and make positive move. Dear friends, our differences keep us a part
at times, but we’re still one and the same. You’re intrinsic members of Bor
Community, and ambassadors to the South, You’re the mirror image of what Dr. Garang,
had strived and struggled for. You’re chosen generation. Please lets keep our
solidarity firm in honor of our community here and afar.
As we know, our senior, Commanders in the Movement, politicians within, church
leaders, elderly and the youth are internally crashed for the lost round the globe.
With these reasons, I urge you to articulate a thoughtful idea that will emancipate
us from the notion of chasm. However, I commend this idea in your prayers.
In conclusion, I would like to thank Daniel Leek Geu, for his thoughtful idea and
all the members of BCUSA, who has endorsed this idea. Please let others know about
it.
If you have inputs, suggestions, questions, or clarification, please do not hesitate
to contact me or the chair-person of BCUSA. We’re looking for volunteers that would
help in coordinating this important momentum.Thank you and May God bless our
community abundantly.
With regards
sincerely
