Paul Is Back From The Gulf Coast Of Missippi 3 comments
Sorry y’all I left wthout informing everyone about my where about. I left on Thursday with Lipscomb University student fucultym staff to the Gulf Coast of Mssissipi to help the the victims of huricane.. It took us eight hours to arrive at the Gulf Coast Bible camp, which is about one hour away from from where we worked, There were 75 Lipscomb University 25 fuculty staff.
We spent Thursday Friday, Saturdayin Mssissipi and then back on Sunday evening Lipscomb University.
We haven’t done much since the devastation is overwhelming but people really appreciate the work done in that short time.
There is a lot to be done so I want to encourage those who want to volunteer to go a head and help. It doesn’t matter how small your assistance might be it alway brings a difference. Equally important, remember them in your prayers.
Thanks you for your time and prayers.
Our God is not a small God.
Yours In Him

Important verse of the day. 1 comment
“ If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. †(Philippians 2:1-2) (

Subject: Short Quiz
The following short quiz consists of 4 questions and will tell you whether you are
qualified to be a professional. Scroll down for each answer. The questions are NOT
that difficult. But don’t scroll down UNTIL you have answered the question!
1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?
The correct answer is: Open the refrigerator, put in the giraffe, and close the
door. This question tests whether you tend to do simple things in an overly
complicated way.
2. How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?
Did you say, Open the refrigerator, put in the elephant, and close the refrigerator?
Wrong Answer.
Correct Answer: Open the refrigerator, take out the giraffe, put in the elephant
and close the door. This tests your ability to think through the repercussions of
your previous actions.
3. The Lion King is hosting an animal conference. All the animals attend… except
one. Which animal does not attend?
Correct Answer: The Elephant. The elephant is in the refrigerator. You just put
him in there. This tests your memory. Okay, even if you did not answer the first
three questions correctly, you still have one more chance to show your true
abilities.
4. There is a river you must cross but it is used by crocodiles, and you do not
have a boat. How do you manage it?
Correct Answer: You jump into the river and swim across. Have you not been
listening? All the crocodiles are attending the Animal Meeting. This tests whether
you learn quickly from your mistakes.
According to Anderson Consulting Worldwide, around 90% of the professionals they
tested got all questions wrong, but many preschoolers got several correct answers.
Anderson Consulting says this conclusively disproves the theory that most
professionals have the brains of a four-year-old.
Send this out to frustrate all of your smart friends.
“True Love” no comments
Read and Enjoy a friend share this with me and I also want to share this story with you too in the same way and in the same language!
“It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 am, when an elderly gentleman in his
80’s, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a
hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am.
I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour
before someone would to able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and
decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would
evaluate his wound.
On exam it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed
supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.
While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation I asked him if
he had a doctor’s appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The
gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the
nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.
I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while
and that she was a victim of Alzheimer Disease. As we talked, and I finished
dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he
was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not
recognized him in five years now.
I was surprised, and asked him. “And you still go every morning, even though she
doesn’t know who you are?” He smiled as he patted my hand and said , “She doesn’t
know me, but I still know who she is.”
I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought,
“That is the kind of love I want in my life.”
True love is neither physical, nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that
is, has been, will be, and will not be.
With all the jokes and fun that are in e-mails, sometimes there are some that come
along that have an important message, and this is one of those kind. Just had to
share it with you all.
Oh, by the way, PEACE is seeing a sunset and knowing WHO to thank.
“The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything; they just
make the best of everything that comes along their way.”
Please share this with someone you care about – I JUST DID.
